X-girl x HYSTERIC GLAMOUR

X-Girl teams up to launch a collaborative collection with HYSTERIC GLAMOUR, the Japanese fashion brand founded by designer, Mr. Nobuhiko Kitamura, back in 1994.

The iconic graphic artwork from HYSTERIC GLAMOUR such as VIXEN GIRL, YANKEE GIRL, POP BERRY is featured in the collection, combining with X-Girl’s well-known “face” logo and icon. This capsule collection consists of T-shirt, sweat hoodies, maxi T-shirt dress, tight-fitting long sleeve tee, knitted top, jacket with X-Girl and HYSTERIC GLAMOUR branding printed all over as well as its matching trousers and mini skirt, and accessories including a leather tote.

Both brands represent 90’s Harajuku culture, and this exclusive collection commemorates the anniversary year for both brands.

X-girl explains, “It’s been 25 years since the X-Girl brand started. We’ve worked various brands and artists throughout the year as part of the anniversary project. We’re launching a collaborative project with HYSTERIC GLAMOUR, the leading Harajuku street culture brand in the ’90s as its culmination”.

The campaign features a 25 years-old Coco Gordon Moore, who is a daughter of Sonic Youth ex-band member Kim Gordon known as a founder of X-Girl, who has a close connection with HYSTERIC GLAMOUR.

X-Girl x HYSTERIC GLAMOUR pop-up installation will be available at the Dover Street Market New York and Los Angeles from 23rd December 2019.

X-Girl x HYSTERIC GLAMOUR capsule collection is available globally on 20th December 2019.
